Stillwater Settles Charter Dispute, Approves Budget Adjustment

NY STILLWATER — Stillwater Town Board authorizes settlement with Charter Communications, approves road funding transfer. Supervisor Ed Kinowski was unanimously authorized to sign the settlement agreement and service contract to resolve a dispute previously submitted to arbitration. The board approved a $200,000 budget transfer from Fund Balance to Roads Maintenance to address material cost increases.

T-Mobile will replace Charter as the town's phone carrier. The board scheduled two public hearings for June 18 to address ethics law amendments and Water District 6 Phase 3 Improvements, a $2.9 million project to replace water mains in the Riverside area.
