NY STILLWATER — Stillwater Planning Board approves Herkert Minor Subdivision and tables Winding Brook dispute. The board voted unanimously to approve a two-lot subdivision at 11 McDermott Road, creating lots of 3.7 and 3.3 acres in the T2 Zoning District; approval was conditioned on compliance with Town Engineer Paul Male's June 1 review letter. The board also voted unanimously to schedule a public hearing for the four-lot Hope Minor Subdivision at 35 County Route 70 on 11.54 acres, with each lot carrying 200 feet of road frontage.
The board tabled amendments to the Winding Brook condominium development, directing the applicant to submit engineered plans for interior sidewalks in the common area after drainage and ADA compliance concerns rendered the originally planned 3-foot roadside sidewalks impractical.
